Pond

There is a small enclosed pond in the garden.

 

A pond is a haven for all sorts of birds, plants and animals. It provides essential drinking water for birds and mammals.

 

Plants are planted around the edge to encourage a diversity of wildlife and the sides are gently sloping to allow wildlife to climb in and out of the pond.

 

This year (2020) a member of the community has given us frog spawn so we are hoping to see some frogs this year!
